Ona Wealth Mentor was built by Rodrigo Rincón, founder of FOA Family Office Advisors and author of Wealth and Family, and Lisset Turrent, organizational leader and educator. Together, they created a platform that brings conflict-free, structured financial thinking to anyone — not just wealthy families.

There is a kind of financial guidance that actually works. It is based on decades of experience, structured, unbiased, and focused on the long term. For most people, it has never been available.

Not because it is complicated. But because it has usually lived inside family offices — organizations that have traditionally served families with significant wealth.

Rodrigo Rincón has spent over 25 years in finance. For 14 of those years he served as CEO and CIO of a Single-Family Office, and for the past decade he has been helping more families through FOA Family Office Advisors. What he witnessed across that career — both the clarity that structured thinking produces and the losses that happen without it — is the reason Ona exists.

Rodrigo Rincón — 25 Years in Finance, Built Around Wealth Strategy

Rodrigo has spent over 25 years in finance, in roles that ranged from managing complex investment portfolios to advising families on multigenerational wealth strategy. A significant part of that career has been dedicated to family office leadership — first as CEO and CIO of a Single-Family Office, and today through FOA Family Office Advisors, helping families and investors design sound wealth strategies, governance frameworks, and long-term continuity plans, all grounded in a multigenerational vision.

He is the author of Wealth and Family: Towards Better Decision Making and the Role of the Family Office — and its Spanish edition, Patrimonio y Familia — a book written to share the principles of successful family offices with a wider audience.

Rodrigo speaks regularly at universities, business schools, and financial forums. His core message has never changed: the thinking frameworks used by the world's most successful families should not be a privilege. They should be available to everyone.

What he witnessed over 25 years was consistent. Even capable, successful people lose their wealth — not from lack of intelligence, but from lack of honest, structured guidance. From Ponzi schemes to investment terms designed to benefit the advisor more than the client, the patterns were too frequent to ignore.

Ona is his answer to that — an unbiased financial mentor built on the same frameworks he has applied as a family office advisor for over two decades. If you want to understand the thinking behind it, this article explains where it all began.

Lisset Turrent — The Human Side of the Platform

Alongside Rodrigo is Lisset Turrent, whose background brings something that financial expertise alone cannot provide: the ability to turn complex knowledge into something people can actually use.

Lisset graduated top of her class as an Industrial and Systems Engineer from Tecnológico de Monterrey. She earned a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University, where she was recognized as Class Marshal. She later completed a Master's degree in Education — and spent over 25 years in the field, from classroom teacher to school principal.

Her leadership extended beyond education. She has launched entrepreneurial initiatives, served on boards, and led a nonprofit organization.

That combination — engineering precision, advanced management training, and two decades of building educational systems — shapes how Ona works. The platform doesn't just respond to questions. It teaches people to think about money in a way that stays with them.

What They Built Together

Rodrigo brings the strategic depth — the methodology, the frameworks, the 25 years of real-world financial practice. Lisset brings the human architecture — how that knowledge is structured, sequenced, and made genuinely accessible.

Neither works without the other.

A platform built only on financial expertise can overwhelm. A platform built only on educational principles can lack the depth that real decisions require. Ona is the intersection of both.

It is not an app. It is a mentor — built by two people who believe that clear, honest financial thinking should be available to everyone.
